Incidentally, while there are more than four elements, there are only four elementary forces in the universe: electromagnetic, gravitational, and the strong and weak nuclear forces. They can even be easily equated to the meanings of the original four elements:

Electromagnetic <---> Fire
Gravitational <---> Earth
Strong Nuclear <---> Water
Weak Nuclear <---> Air

Coincidence... or conspiracy?
