The band is a joke as is running thunder. They are far too wierd for any large faction of students to copy while retaining any self respect. Get the band to stop marching around like a hs drum and buggle corps and teach them some new songs. Those "original" halftime arraingments are just terrible. Take a cue from Cal or Davis or even Fresneck; play some Welcome to the Jungle or at least something that can be recognized by someone outside of the classical music genre. The only cheer they do is ripped off from UCLA anyway so why not steal some good stuff from decent bands. I have a feeling that the only way to make a decent gameday atmosphere in SLO would be to sell beer (probably not an option).
