Subject: We looked good last night

Dare I say it: we looked good last night. Take a peek at the box score:

A nice thing to point out is that we racked up ten blocks against CSUF's ZERO. Turnovers were down, shooting was up (7-14 on threes in the second half), and FIVE 'Stangs scored in double digits!

I was particularly impressed with Phil Johnson's play. He was agressive on both ends and kept his cool when CSUF's #24 (that jerk) tried to pick a fight.

And did anybody else notice #40 (whom we in the end court made fun of for pretending, in our eyes, to be a ref) taunting the band and anybody else sitting in the end court when he was shooting free throws? We'd get loud, he'd sink a shot, and then he'd make the kill gesture across his throat. I wish a ref had seen it.

Anyway, great opening to the conference season. Can't wait for tomorrow night, cause various Mustang Militia members will be back in town. Look for us wearing our black shirts and waving our offensive signs!
