I think it is a great idea. UTEP is already going to have a game under their belt by the time we play them. That means they will have gotten the first game mistakes out of the way and we waon't. By playing Cal Lu in a controlled scrimmage we can get some experience against another team, but stay fresh and healty for the season opener.

Best of luck to the 'stangs this season...we may need it.
