Here's the list of submitted names.

I can see many that beat out "THE ASYLUM." I also submitted "Hung Like Mustangs" and the simple "Mustangs." Some people evidently got confused and submitted their own names -- see the last two entries in the list.

I forget exactly who had the final say. I think it was mostly Athletics Department higher-ups who had most of the votes. I'll check on that.
