Subject: Historical year for POLY hoops

Even though the last shot didn't drop for the MUSTANGS, this has been a huge year for the Mustangs. The Mustangs played a great game. Who would have thought that lack of fouls at the end of the game would hurt a team like that. Too much time had to be used to give fouls. The Mustangs made me proud on national T.V. and the fans sounded great. Wish I could have been there.

The Mustangs took two games from the gauchoes and one huge one when it counted, ending their season. That reminds me of Fullove's statement about the POY has to come from the best team in the conference. No duh!! Fullove will be hard pressed to keep that tarnished trophy shined up. Williams now has magnaminously conceded that there is a rivalry.

The Mustangs performance this year has gone a long way in setting the table for recruiting higher caliber players. Watch for Shane Schilling to polish his game in the off season and make a run against Varnie for POY honors next year. Go Mustang baseball!!!
