The first Saturday in September in El Paso's SUN BOWL.

A long time ago, the Mustangs were considered for the Sun Bowl after an early upset over San Diego State. Can anyone guess the year and the ramifications if we would have played in that bowl?

I also noticed that we are also playing another Div. I-A team this fall--Akron from the MAC. The Zips should be more beatable than Toledo.
