Thats how the broadcast sounded last night. CAL POLY literally had their way with riverside. Every time riverside would make a little 4-5 pt run the MUSTANGS would answer very quickly and effectively. Varnie just flat out dominated the middle. However the lowly titans can be a diffrent game. Particularly if the whole team is looking at the NCAA playoffs, before the BW tourney as Varnie apparently is. The MUSTANGS cannot afford to go into Saturdays game to cocky. foolerton matched up with us very nicely before and they now have the Sowe "the one man crime wave" back.(he was averages one a steal a year) We do have our new found ability to win on the road, major confidence and a team that peaking at just the right time. I look for us to handle the titans but not by the margin and with the ease we did riverside. Can there be any question that Varnie is the BW POY?
