Subject: Congrats Basketball...Nice going Baseball!

Kudos to the basketball team and the coaching staff. Solid half time adjustments likely won the game. However, like everyone else, I miss the Schneider years when Poly would fall behind by 25, make a furious comeback then lose by 10. God Schneider wasted a ton of quality players with that ass-backward approach.

Now it's on to UCSB. No doubt it will be a tough game and the Stang shooter will have to be on. Against Idaho, they won on grit and defense despite "very" poor shooting by the guards. Both guards need to deliver a similar performance as they did last time against UCSB. If they do that and Shilling goes man to man defense with Fullove, there's a chance.

Speaking of furious comebacks, is anybody paying attention to the baseball team? With 3 starters out and several others commuting to Fresno on a daily basis due to finals, the Stangs are using a patchwork line-up. Never the less, after falling behind University of Pennsylvania 7-1, the Stangs put up 8 runs in the top of the 9th to win 9-7. YES! Especially since Penn was picked to win the Ivy League this year. Should be some nice press for Poly in the Philly papers tomorrow morning.
