Subject: Late report from Riverside

We looked good last night. It helped that Riverside couldn't hit anything in the first 10 minutes and had tons of careless turnovers, but we took advantage of everything they gave us. We had good movement on offense and got the ball to the open man. We got it into Varnie when he had good position. They had no physical answer for him inside. On defense we made them work hard for baskets and always made them pay for turnovers. Special credit to Diaby. He made a big difference off the bench. He made the most of every chance he had.

Frankly, I don't know what Riverside's coach is smoking. Nate Carter is one of the best looking players in the league and their offense almost seems designed to keep the ball away from him. They don't run plays or set picks for him. When he got a shot it seemed like accident. I was amazed.

On another note, watch out for Villi Morton next year. he was on the bench in street clothes and looked huge. Varnie won't lead the league in rebounding with 7.4 next year.
