Subject: Four straight road wins

That is damned impressive! A win at the Spanos center and a home and home sweep of a pretty good Tiger team! Unfortunately, we are riding a three game home losing streak. We hope to change that Thursday when the Gauchos come to town.

I bet Coach "Li'l bit" Bromley wishes this was an all-Cali conference already. You see, if you take away the horrid performances against Ida and USU (four losses), this team has played very well against the Cali teams in conference (7-2) with the two losses coming at UCSB and at home to CSUN.

Have you ever noticed how many times Coach B says "li'l bit" in his interviews? We've got to get a li'l bit better on the boards; we've got to box out a li'l bit; we've got to take care of the basketball a li'l bit. . . In today's Trib he was quoted saying it twice in one freakin' sentence, speaking of Shane and his tendancy to get into foul trouble: "They came at him pretty good off the dribble and he had a little bit of trouble defending the ball off the dribble a little bit." Say What?? Can't Milne take a l'il bit of editorial license and clean up Coach's quotes a l'il bit so he doesn't sound like an idiot?

We jumped past two teams tonight (UoP and U da Ho)and we are now in fourth place.

Go Mustangs! The ability to win on the road is a HUGE step forward from the Schneidy days and is keeping us in the race for a BWC tourney first round game against a lower seed. Wouldn't that be a new experience? Now let's focus on defending our home court a "li'l bit" Thursday against the Tortilla Chucks.
