Maybe the Trib doesn't want to expose their sportswriters on the web, fearing someone might offer them a real full-time job.

Why don't they let Brian write a mid-week (Tues. or Wed.)column? I'm still waiting for KVEC or some other station to have an hour or two of sports talk. They could concentrate on the Big West, other colleges, then some Pro talk if needed. Cal Poly should find the sponsors for a Sports Talk show.
