There is also a model here for such a group. It's called Running Thunder. They haven't been active lately, due to much of the management graduating. They're working on it though. I'll try to pass along the idea of recruiting freshmen. I've always thought that barging through the dorms making noise on game nights is an easy tactic to employ.
