Subject: Paradise Bowl action

Just to leave the hard wood for a while and for those who are looking for a better year for Ellerson on the gridiron.

THE PLACE: St George, UTAH (Somewhere near the Nevada & Arizona border)

THE EVENT: An all-star college senior football game at little "Dixie State University"

COVERAGE: FOX West Net
Cal Poly's Vaugn Jarrett & Brett Nichols (Sp) played on the defensive squad of the West team against college all-stars from the Midwest. Most of the players were from D-1A schools, but, perhaps 1/4th of the players that were selected and played were from D-1AA schools... a very interesting format.

Nichols played defensive end instead of 'o' lineman and was very effective. Jarrett was at his corner position and played very well....no picks.

Hpefully they will get drafted and have a shot at the next level...!!!
