Subject: Halfway Mark of Conference Play

Understanding that we have already played the tougher half of our road schedule (USU, UCI, and UCSB) and in the first half since we played UCSB at the Thunderhut, we played 5 road games in the first half, we still have alot of work to do. We still have a roadie to UoP and CSUN and we have the tougher half of our home schedule to come (although we have 5 home games compared to 4 in the first half).

CSUN exposed us as vulnerable at home so in the second half we've got to really nut up against USU, UCSB, and UCI at home (not to mention LBSU and Ida). In other words, there are no gimmes at home now that CSUN showed that we can be blown out in Mott.

Nevertheless, a 5-4 conference mark after having played the three top teams on their home floors and five of nine on the road is very respectable.

Make no mistake, the roadie to CSUF and UCR will be tough too. We've got to take one game at a time. But, I can't help but notice we are in pretty good position now to finish strong.
