Subject: Botticelli and da Vinci

There are several differences that can be seen between Botticelli and da Vinci's artwork. The most notable difference is probably the fact that gods and goddesses and mythology was a prominent topic in Botticelli's work while da Vinvi concentrated more on religious scenes. They are similar in regards to the fact that they were both very talented painters. Personally i prefer da Vinci's artwork. I think it's amazing how much thought he must have put into creating the pieces considering how much meaning can be found in them, such as "The Last Supper." Even though I think that Botticelli's pieces are beautiful as well, espcially "The Birth of Venus" the fact that he painted himself into one of his portraits seems conceited to me and is a turn-off.
