The opera Rigoletto has captured my emotions more than any other opera we have watched this year. To me it is one thing to get revenge on someone who deserves it, but it another thing to play with someone's heart. The way the Duke is treating Gilda is horrible, he is making her feel as if he loves her. Gilda is very young and has been sheltered from the world. Gilda has no idea what is coming to her. I also feel bad for Rigoletto for the person he cares about most, Gilda, will be taken from him.
