I totally agree with you Mary Beth. I don't like La Boheme at all, and that's partially because of Pavarotti. He just doesn't see to fit the part. I also just don't like the storyline. It's too predictable. Guy meets girl, they fall in love in 5 mins., and then the chick dies. The End. Oh yeah, and in between they sing a bunch of songs. Usually the songs are the best part, but I don't even like Puchini's music for the opera. I have to say that the operas I have enjoyed so far are The Magic Flute and Carmen, but the last three have not really drawn my attention.
