I would have to say that my favorite character thus far is the title character, Dr. Falke. He reminds me of Figaro in that both me love plotting things. Except, Figaro always seems to have a good intention on his side (keeping his bride in "The Marriage of Figaro" and getting two lovers together in "The Barber of Seville") while Dr. Falke is more evil in his intents. But that is what makes the character all the more interesting. Dr. Falke is also an interesting character to analyze, but I shan't annoy anyone with my thoughts on that here.
