Subject: My trip to the MET

Unfortunetly,I wasn't able to attend the class trip to the MET, so I went yesterday on my own so I could actually do the assignment. Since I was limited on time, I didn't take one of the guided tours, I just set out on my own. I was truly amazed by some of the great works that I was able to see first hand. Being able to see some of the masterpieces up close was like an inside view into the hearts and minds of the artists that created them.
I also realized that this trip helped to further create my own personal style. I was able to see what I liked, and what I could absolutley not stand. I found that I could have stayed for hours in certain rooms and areas, while others I could walk throught without giving any of the works inside a second glance.
