Subject: The Met Museum

I definatly had a great time at the museum. It felt great to know what was going on and being able to spot themes and things about paintings that not many people would know. I enjoyed a lot of the works of art and sculptures. It is a facinating place and aside from getting lost.....i had fun. I still had fun while i was lost too.

The works of art are really cool to see upclose and in color. You can get so close to the painting you can almost see all the different strokes the artist took to put the paint on. Theres only soo much you can learn from a book but nothing replaces a real live experience. I dont think there was anything I didnt like while I was there. Except for the modern art and all the photos. I know some people think photography is an art but if it is somthing I can do.....its mostlikly not art. Almost anyone can take pictures and abstract art. I almost had a laughing fit when i passed by that exhibit and i heard someone say "you can see how carefully he placed the paint" and i looked to see what they were looking at and it was the autumn one megan presented in class. Theres another thing I dont understand. But that is just my own opinion. But otherwise it was a good experience.
