I think if the judges would be new instead of the same old people always used then the outcome as far as the bashing might be a little different. You can't tell me those judges don't know some of those children. I am not saying they know them in the sense that they visit with them or are friends with the moms but they see them time and time again. For some this can be positive and others negative. You can't tell me a judge is going to not remember the Grand Supreme from the last pageant they judged, just as much as they won't forget the kid that threw a fit onstage of fell on stage. (these are just fictional example). For that I blame the director in part. It makes it hard for the bad apple to look good against the shining star. It can also hurt the the child that was awesome last time seen but was a little off this time. I believe they do compare and they shouldn't. They have a predetemined idea about some children and that is not fair. It has happened to my child before both to the good and to the bad and it is not right.Maybe just something everyone should think on.
