Subject: Next module with Ann

This is a bit of advance info searching.

We have a module coming up in September which is left fairly free so that we can do what seems most interesting or useful in it.

It's an opportunity for people to learn from each other (as this usually comes up as a major requirement or 'best part of the course' for lots of people. This means there is quite a lot of student input.

Last year we looked at case studies as a learning technique on the first day and then groups worked to prepare their own cases on the second which they presented on the third.

The year before (which was a much smaller group) everyone led a session on what they considered to be their area of expertise.

Another option is to run some sessions on 'hot' topics - whatever we define them to be, but could include globalisation, impact of technology, stakeholder management, coporate social responsibility, improvisation in management, gender in organisations whatever. Despite my experience this year, I realise my limitations and would expect some help in preparing material... I would quite like to do something on alternative ways of presenting knowledge as this is my current passion but appreciate that not everyone will be equally thrilled at the prospect. We could run it into some stuff on creativity.

So, anyone with ideas please get in touch - and if you get a moment you might want to talk about it on your next module.
