Subject: Bullet points again

Here's my reply.

With regard to the bullet point debate: you are, sir,
entitled to your opinion, but you must also allow me to be
entitled to mine. As I said on Saturday, there are plenty
of assignments in which you would be foolish not to use
bullet points. In the first assignment that I will be
giving you, however, I will be looking for continuous prose
as appropriate to the traditional essay format. I will not
be deducting marks for the use of bullets, but, in the
words of the immortal Shania Twain, they won't impress me
much.
