I am not a member and can't post on the board, but maybe someone will see this here (by next Christmas).

If I could I would email Cid (I am not longer a member and can't get addys) to tell him that I am not emailing anything about HIM (or anyone else) behind his/their back(s). I simply emailed a few friends to explain that because I am no longer an effective "Bubbles" I don't feel the need to be a member of the boards. But there is no secret so I'll explain in this public place. My leaving has nothing to do with anyone but me. I am not able to bring the fun and smiles that I once was. And I don't think I have the energy to try anymore based on the current environment. I do keep getting accused of being stupid - and that is wearing on me - but if other things were still the same I would roll with it. It is part of debate - when someone thinks that he/she is right he/she automatically sees the other's view as having less merit.
It isn't the disagreements. What has gotten to me is the mean-spiritedness of people. The name calling and accusations. And the lack of fun and playfulness that was the reason I joined and most of the reason I posted. I don't have any illusions that my leaving has any real meaning. I am not trying to make a point. I am not trying to show anyone anything nor am I trying to prove something. I need to do what is best for me. And what is best for Bubbles is not just to stand up for what I believe in and state my opinion no matter how unpopular, but what is best for Bubbles is to have fun and to make other people smile. I need to find a place where I can do ALL that.
I love the Nomads and I always will. I expect to be back. I have no hard feeling toward Gonz, or Cid, or anyone else. Like I said before, this is all about me, Bubbles, and what I need.
