I still think you should find a number of work-related sites with popups that you are no longer able to access because of the new software and tell your IS department. When they show up, watch what they do, then sneak back in after they leave and add MSN and the job sites to the list of permitted sites. Meanwhile, poke around on the program list and see if anything looks like the culprit. These things are always customizable.
