Don't think. The problem is that the body interprets the diet as a problem with facing starvation. It automatically slows the metabolism over time to conserve as much stored material as possible, at which point you hit a plateau with the new "set" point. You are not far enough into the food modification program to have reached that point yet. Exercise speeds up the metabolism and in time overcomes the lower "set" point, at which point you resume weight reduction.
