Subject: What are the signs of a jezabel spirit? Author: Rev. Darwin [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 23:51:45 11/17/04 Wed As many of you know I have had trouble with a certain mom and her 3 kids in our youth dept. The church body has really turned around, this family has been seen for who they really are and the church is unified again. Any way my question is I read in a book about spirits, demons and the jezebel spirit, and 1 of the signs are that a person with an unclean spirit will not sing about the blood or CHRIST or the cross, and I have noticed these certain family members will get sleepy or look around when we sing songs like there is power in the blood, ect. also when I am teaching in sun. school or wed. night bible study one or all of the kids in this family will get really upset if we talk about our testamony and our excepting CHRIST for the first time ,for example I asked one of the other kids in our class about the time he excepted JESUS and the daughter got really upset and said "you can't ask people that!" or whenever I ask certain questions when I am teaching like are we being conformed to the likness of jesus after we are saved and they will say no way we can never walk like christ did, and I will say look at 2 cor. 3:18 or romans 8:29 and they will get so upset and play the silent treatment the rest of the class . Do you think this is odd or is it just me? and remember it's only when it comes to those thing pertaining to CHRIST and holy living and salvation and claiming JESUS as lord. Inorder to maintain their position they do what is done in most offices; they make Lesser collegues look small so that they themselves look bigger. Now that they do not need ulc anymore they trash them. Why ? They have to pretend to be holier than thou. The many many swops of leadership and the trail of incompentence they leave behind Has to be taken to another degree. Believe me, they trash people where they can. Look down the thread because there is a list of signs of the jezebel spirit. If you meant sprites I don't know about those. But I can say from experience when things start to go out of wack in a marriage all of a sudden it can defenitely be spirits. The thing I would ask is are you or your husband involved in soul winning or ministering the Gospel in any way because when you get involved in leading the lost to Jesus or helping spread the Gospel in (any way) the spirits put you on their radar for sure and they will try and seperate you and your husband because satan knows that if he can get you guys fighting then it will stop you from focusing on the lost and on the gospel. If this is the case you need to draw close to GOD fast! Start keeping your eyes open to his attacks and confront him and cut him off at the root. Start by praying and fasting that will stop him in his tracks. If the spirits are troubling you fast and pray anyway. There are demons that can't be stopped unless you add fasting to your prayers. I believe Jezebel knew what was right but she refused to do it. There are other things that work hand in hand with her. This is probably true of demonic activity in general. I have also seen her manifest in many differnt ways. She can be very young and beautiful or very old and ugly but we recognize her by the fruit s she bears. There is usually control,deceit anger and unforgiveness. She is a seductress who studies her victims, knows the weak links in the chain of command and doesn't fight fair! she drafts her followers by blackmail,force or seduction. She starts out smelling like a rose, people who are prophetic recognize her quickly, but it takes time for others to see thru her hateful tactics. She often and quickly uses her own family and friends to carry out her dastardly deeds. She is grooming them to take her place someday. She hates truth, it must torment her to hear it. If a church has prophetic ministry they usually are praying to remove her long before she is exposed. This is a vital ministry to the heartbeat of the church when dealing with individual or corporate deliverance. The greatest challenge is to confront the guilty parties, encourage them to confess and repent or face appropriate scriptural consequences. They may need counseling to discover the root of the problem and then pray for deliverance with qualified deliverance counselors and ministers. It is sad that many churches if not most in many denominations have aquired the spirit of Jezebel.....that same demonic spirit that rules the world. Perhaps the biggest lie Satan has deceived the church with is that "we are serving God....all is ok." Churches (and individuals) may well be going through the motions of worship and even do many good things encouraged by Scripture...but somewhere along the line have replaced the need for salvation or the WAY of salvation. Jezebel...that old serpent has slithered her way into the world's churches and has deceived so many.....Let us pray many more will make the escape to the safety of Jesus' true Church...His Body. thanks for the opportunity to share. All was shown to be true the truth came out and they left the church shortly after this post. Everything I thought was true but then again it wasn't what I thought it was what the SPIRIT told me. I have now been filling in for my pastor to preach when he is out. I didn't " become" like them as you said but we must uncover what satan is doing in the church by bringing into the light when jezebel is running about isn't wrong in any way. Also the husband wasn't loving he was under " Her " authority! The husband is going to be the head of the house in a christian home he was anything but. The church changed when they left, we had over a dozen new kids in the youth group they were saved and baptized after the jezebel left. So I thought your liberal advice needed a response. If insecurity fuels this spirit, then love is a powerful weapon, because when people feel loved for who they truly are then there is no need to be upfront all the time, in the limelight, or doing everything. A spirit of control and manipulation can be dealt with also in love, the person doing the controlling will often not handle being told about it very well, so, again, in love we tell them, "no, I am not going to do that, think that or say that etc, telling them that you care very much about them, but that this isnt your way of dealing with things. When they are critical of others openly say somthing, simply "hey, thats my broither, or sister your talking about," if you feel so strongly about them lets go and see them to gether so that you can pray together! This soon brings splutters and embarysment. We have weapons of warefare that are not carnel at our disposal, Love is not mushy or wishy washy, true love took the son of God to the cross and kept Him their, it is the most powerful weapon that we have. I would say that the pastor who wants to love them to death has the true picture of what real love is all about. Why not as him how you can help in this, this family could turn around and become a real asset, dont push them away, embrace them as Jesus embraces us all. He loved even when others didnt. Really peter it is as bad as it looks The pastor has shared theses fears with me we have talked over the issue. the husband is a good guy but he is hen pecked to the 1000s degree, it is just the mom has a spell over him . Here is an example the mother and the kids go on an yearly vacation and dad stays home I don't really know why but on 2 or 3 times they were gone he was so worried about her he was hospitalized for anxiety just because she was gone. I am not making anything up it is true just this last week the mother crashed on her scooter no big deal just a couple bruises and the father was not even approachable he was so down trotten he wouldn't talk to anyone. I love my wife with all my heart but I would still talk to people at church if my wife had a bruise on her arm. It is very obvious but out of fear it is allowed to continue because just like the jezzabel she is on every committe and in every group and the pastor doesn't want to rock the boat. Go figure.
