Subject: No we were well enough in southern Ohio we didn't lose ours...but thought of you guys that did....knew it was a hot day. Just glad you didn't have to go any longer than a day before they got it back on.

  • Our power only went out for about 10 minutes. Our power company claims they are very stable and their warning system went off allowing them to immediately switched to another grid before damage was done (again, or so they say). Problem here personally was that our well pump was hit by lightning (which we didn't know) and the surge from the outage finished it off. So we lost power for ten minutes but had absolutely no water for 2 days. Wasn't fun with five people in a household and no water. (NT) -- Midnight, 22:42:19 08/18/03 Mon
