Marist is on track for a 9 seed taking on the Indiana Hoosiers of the Big 10 in Duluth, Ga. in the Raleigh Regional. Up next for the ladies in Creme's dream bracket would be North Carolina's Tar Heels. Better than UConn, I guess. LOL

They have been there a few years in a row, have won games the past two tourneys and would be a long winning streak.

The schedule is gonna hurt them. No room for in season losses in a pretty weak MAAC (compared to last year), no close loss to a big conference team like OSU or wins over the likes of Utah and Nebraska like last year, and only one marquee game at Hartford left.

Marist fans have to hope that Oklahoma keeps winning to stay on UConn's heels in the rankings and begin to look better than maybe people thought they were when they drubbed Marist. They also won't get the credit they deserve for reloading after the loss of 3 big time players. IMO, this team has been pretty amazing given the turnover.

The nightmare scenario is a loss to Hartford and a loss in the finals of the tournament, and the weak schedule keeps them from earning an at-large.

I base the 6 on winning out. You are right. If we lose to Hartford, that 6 would go down quite a bit to that dreaded 9 possibility assumming we win the MAAC tourney.

The Duluth GA bracket would be the best thing that could happen. Did I mention my office is in Duluth GA?
