This team is going to very good next year and even better 2 years from now. Alexis and Rusin continue to play well. With Drummond cleaning everybody out inside, this group of athletes is going to be dynamic. Next year's goal is to get a Spongy type. Athletic with long arms who runs the floor. The team two years from now will be the best team in Marist College history. Book it.... Chuck has the personality and coaching ability to bring guys in that Marist has never been able to get. Marist basketball has two great coaches. Couple that with a beautiful campus and great academics. I think there's going to be a new sheriff in the MAAC. It's name is Marist. Y'all be cool now... She is a 6-3 with point guard skills. Scoring about 50% of her teams points and double digit rebounds. If she played in a metro area Marist wouldn't have had a chance to sign her. What a get by the staff.

Girls are a little bit different than guys. They're not concerned as much about getting on TV.. That's why Marist can be a national power in women's ball. I see the women's team at all men's games. They really are class acts, on and off the court. No idiots. Who wouldn't want to be part of that??? Today they need to take care of an improving Siena squad. Should get the job done. I'll say 72-58.

It took getting Chuck to get Marist where it belongs. Brady was a Siena guy. Can't have that. The girls take on all challenges... Imagine that.. Down 3 with under 5 minutes and they win by 10. Those girls are winners..

Every once and a while I turned my the fan next to me and asked "how is Marist still in this game?" Ultimately, Siena could never get the lead over 6 and that's not nearly enough to discourage the Foxes. When crunch time came they cranked up the defense and outscored the game Lady Saints by about 15 or so in the last 3 minutes. They made 90% of their foul shots down the stretch too! ;-) Well deserved week off for both Marist squads as they both prepare for the middle portion of the league schedule.
