Rivals has Rice HS Forward James Stukes putting Marist atop his list with "High" interest. I dont think Chuck has the room for another. Or is there another 'ship available?

BTW. I'm not an insomniac. I work nights.

Not Rivals. It was Scout.

Keep in mind that scholarships are renewable every year. Often a coach will "encourage" underachieving players that it might be in their best interests to transfer elsewhere. Especinally if a coach has a recruit in the wings that might be more productive.

Not saying it is going to happen, but I wouldn't be suprised if it did.

That happened to a player named Carter a few years ago most likely and has happened at other schools in the MAAC ALOT recently. That is a path Marist should not follow. If you offer a player a scholarship, honor it as long as the player wants to stay unless he embarrasses the school legally or something like that.

Marist didn't take Carter's ship away. Brady told him his playing time was going to be less and suggested a D2 school. Carter wanted to play and that is why he transferred. This was the right thing for Brady and Carter to do. At the end of the day, however, Carter could have stayed at Marist and kept the scholarship.

I know we are counting on Drummond taking the last or 4th scholarship; BUT still not sighting of him at any home games. How could we miss a 6'10" 275 lb. guy? (who should be sitting behind the bench) If we do not see him this Friday I doubt he's coming. Hey maybe we do have one scholarship available.

Mike Taylor is attending Marist on some program Pres. Murray has, so he may not need an athletic scholarship. That's good for us!

Might not have been on campus. I do believe he was at the Iona game when he was contemplating his choice.

Yes they have been during the break BUT if he is going to be on the team I would think he would want to be here. He can practice with the team once the fall semester ends, he does not have to wait until the spring semester begins.
The reason I am not convinced is because he is not practicing with the team or if he's hurt not under the Physical Therapy supervision of the Marinelli & company.
