Girlzaga moves up one spot. One spot ahead of Rutgers and one below Ohio St.

Congrats!

Sounds like I need to go update my avatar on the MAAC board. Can't wait to see the corresponding drop in the coaches poll.

Tell you what, I bet Jen Rizotti at Hartford votes them top 10. The higher Marist is, the better for the Hawks.

Stephanie DeWolfe is the MAAC coach that has a vote this season. Hopefully she showed the ladies some love after seeing them easily handle her charges last week.

Getting in front of OSU can only help BG when he's in Buckeye land for a reload.

Speaking of which, coach was in Ohio Monday at one of the premier in season events, The Classic in the Country, which is a three day event which includes the top teams in all four Ohio divisions. I would be willing to wager that 12 or 13 of the teams that end up in the Final Fours in
Columbus in March play in this event. It it not a tournament, per se, but they match up top teams from different parts of the state that normally would not play each other in regular season games. Some teams play all three days, some play twice, and others only one game. At any; drate, I wouldn't be surprised if BG came away with a player or two from this event in the next couple recruiting classes.

Only three voters left the ladies off their ballots this week. Highest ranking was 15th.
