Sees the other people glad she finally got more help. She grabs Flames of Flirtation's halter and the mare poked out her head and whinnied. As Katie approached the mare banged on the door with her foreleg "Whoa, Flirt. Easy, girl. Don't ruin that leg of yours, because you're going to go far in racing and you'll need it" The mare stops and when Katie opened the door, and she scrunched up in the stall corner. Katie moved toward her, and the mare rolled her eyes, the whites of them showing. She pawed the ground and dialated her nostrils, keeping her head high. "Easy, shhh. What's wrong girl?" As She continued to move forward, Flirt half reared, whinning wildly "Whoa Flirt. It just me. Can't you remember?" Katie tried to touch her, but the mare bolted around the stall, and Katie almost felt as if she were in danger. But she didn't show it. Fear from her would just make the horse afraid. She stood square in the middle of the stall and stuck out her hand to Flirt. The mare stopped, starlted by the movement. Warily, still eyeing her, she extended her muzzle towards Katie's hand, smelling if, and even lipping at the fingers a bit. Katie let out a sigh of relief, and slowly rubbed the mare's muzzle and worked her hand along her head and neck until the mare was calm. She stroked her neck and spoke soothingly "Good girl Flirt. See, I'm not going to hurt you. I wonder why you were so crazy. Oh it doesn't matter. I'm just glad you're okay" She slipped on the mare's halter and led her out of the stall. She rubbed her down for she had worked a bit of a sweat with her little act. She groomed the mare, but Flirt was still a bit hyper after that and was a handful. When Katie unhooked her from the crossties, she lunged forward, wanting to go outside "Whoa, easy now" she went with the mare but tried to stop her because she almost ripped her arm out of the socket. She calmed the mare "You need to be exersized. Why don't we go for a walk?" The mare bobbed her head in agreement. Katie patted her and clipped on her leadshank and clucked and started to move "Come on girl, lets go" They walked out of the barn
