Mondays were his favorite days for being at work - simply because the place was almost always virtually abandonned. With the knowledge that Sullivan and most of the other senior staff were off - therefore no chance of getting roped into doing any work that he didn't have to - he had shown up about mid-morning in grey sweats and a white 'beater with his bag over one shoulder. The next couple hours were spent outside - 'braving' the pre-autumn rain, though in truth he loved the downpour and the mud on the courses and the slippery track - and when he finally made his way back inside, he left a trail of black footprints on the flooring. Water dripped from his recently re-buzzed head and his clothing was soaked through and splattered with dirt, but a small - almost secretive - smile played over his defined features as he headed down the hall in the general direction of the changerooms. Things were still tentative with Bailey, and they had still yet to receive a major, exciting assignment from the bosses, but he had woken up in a good mood and that made a world of difference for how his day would go...
