Even if he was feeling he would rather just curl up in a dark hole somewhere, he had incredible control over himself and so pushed to perform. They finished in a better-than-average time and what should have been good enough to satisfy Sullivan, but he was having some serious trouble breathing again as he walked out afterwards and his heart felt like it was going to pound right out of his chest..
