He was still less than impressed with his commander for not telling him about his ex-girlfriend being pregnant but he wasn't one to let personal feelings get in the way of work nor was he the one to keep holding onto a grudge for a long amount of time. Instead of filling him in right away though, he just nodded in greeting before looking behind Remy pointedly, raising his eyebrows as he did so. "Where is my dog?" So he was a little protective of the great dane - which by the way, Shay had absolutely fallen head over heels in love with and spent hours being entertained by - who was really pretty much his best friend in the world. Bambi had whined for Skeeter occasionally but had been pretty well entertained by Shay and Chase and had loved all the attention so she had been a pretty happy dog throughout her little vacation. Skeeter would sit down and give Remy a detailed synopsis of the mission once he knew where his dog was but until then he was pretty quiet.
