*Scamps looked up at the creature's menacing stare and jumped back to avoid being bitten. Little did she know, it was a huge setup. As she landed on the ground behind her she did not notice another of the hydras heads had snuck behind her, smashing her forcefully into the stonewall. Scamps struggled for a moment, before subsiding into the realm of the forgotten. Meanwhile, like two dibbuns arguing over a candied chestnut, Kitsune and Whiteye did not notice their fallen friend, nor did they seem to notice the hydra stomping his way forward to them, until it was too late. With mouth agape, the hydra threw his head down and struck the arguers hard. Whiteye was knocked out as her head met with the rock hard floor. Kitsune, lying on his chest, no longer had control over his legs. His spine had been snapped just above the waistline. He struggled to reach for his sword, which lay just inches away from him. Stretching his arms out for his blade, the fox stopped, feeling breathless all of a sudden. His arms dropped, and his head fell to the cold floor. His lifeblood drained from his midsection from where the hydra had crushed him. Three brave souls, wandered deep below the Windstar Caverns. Sadly, no trace of them was ever found...* Wha....! *Kitsune sat up in his bed from under the covers in a cold sweat, panting heavily.* .............It was just a dream... heh... heh, heh...! *The morning sky filtered in through the shaded windows, causing the fox to squint.* Why can't the sun take a day off...!
