she gives a great sigh. hardly anyone was active. she swims around boredly in the warm sea. she turns on her back and swims, looking up at the surface. it shimmered as the waves surged through the ocean and glinted as the sun struck the aqua water. as she swims, her shoulder-length auburn hair floats around her, her pale gray eyes looking young but wise, sparkling but bored. she swims the regular way and, because she'd never before, jumps from the water and into the air. at first it scares her, as she's never been above the surface. the wind was cold compared to the warm ocean. there was nothing to grab at, and she was happy to plunge, though rather sloppily, back into the sea. she sighs softly and only pokes her head up out of the water. she looks around. all she can see is ocean around her. Well, this is boring... she thinks. she plunges back under and lays on a large rock underwater, staring up, once again, at the surface, wondering how humans ever survive up there.
