Subject: ThumbNail Creation and resizing

Hello there,
Is there a quick way to get the thumbnails out of images. I need to generate thumbnails to be placed into a grid, but it just seem very slow using the loadfrom file and then resizing the imager. For instance I'm shrinking 590 JPEG images that are 1280x960 to like 100x100. Average size are 500K and it takes 5 minutes... Can I get anything better?
