Subject: Limit to Zooming

I was wondering if anyone has got around the zoom limitation within the envision library. Currently, when I zoom in on a large image, sooner or later I just zoom into a black screen. I think I have tracked this to the image size using stretchDibits in the transformation. The function is not failing, but the retuned image is black.
I have read previous postings on this forum regarding the large amount of memory taken when zooming images, but have yet to know how to get around this without limiting the zoom.
Has anyone seen this and have a possible workaround.

Thanks in advance
John Weston.
