Subject: JPEG SaveQuality and Changed FileSize

Hi there,

How can i load an image from a file (any type), then display the original image plus an image to reflect a changed SaveQuality. This gives the user the ability to choose (visually) the best Quality.

I've tried loading an image in a TImageScrollBox, Saving that image to a TStream, then loading the Stream into a TJpegGraphic and setting the SaveQuality (to 10). After that i save the TJpegGraphic to a Stream and load that Stream into another TImageScrollBox.
The second image is not compressed however. When Saving the First and Second image to file, the filesizes are the same. The filesize of the TJpegGraphic is a lot smaller.
Does savequality not work when saving to a Stream ?

Originally, i tried an Assign version (similar steps, but using Assign instead of a Stream) but got no picture at all.

Also, after Loading a JPG from file and immediately saving it, the JPG filesize is a lot smaller. Why ?
