Subject: Annotations?

Michel,

I noticed that you intend to add annotation capabilities to version 2 - will that be compatible with the Wang annotation tags? I have a great interest in that, since the company I work for is using TIFF and Wang-style annotations extensively. (One of the projects I've worked on is a C++ class hierarchy for that very topic. Unfortunately, that work really doesn't fit too well into your library...)

Do you have a timetable for the release of v2?
