Well, here's a couple of questions.

First, is there anything in the implmentation of the TResizeTransform, without interpolation turned on, that would make it a better or worse choice than doing a StretchDraw of an ordinary bitmap? Or will they be more or less equivalent?

It seems to me that if I did do an interpolated reduction and then sharpened the result then I wouldn't risk losing data due to the discarding of a line of pixels (I'm thinking of maybe losing the crossbar of a 'T' for example).
