The only players with a lower rating per game than Sidebottom this year are Fin Macrae and Ash Johnson.

So Reef McIines, Charlie Dean, Oleg Markov, and even Harvey Harrison have a higher per game player rating than Rusty. Harvey Harrison has only played 25 percent of a game this week. higher rated than a player who was on ground 77 percent of the time.

A favourite son, but his time has come. 2 flags and the second most games in the clubs history is plenty to hang your hat on.

I reiterate my call, move Lipinski to a wing, and give either of Harrison or McInnes a run as a HFF in Lippas old role. Sidebottom can mentor some of the kids onfield in the 2's and be available to be called upon when needed.

The guy is class, and once upon a time entering semi retirement as a forward pocket seemed a realistic option, but who would he push out of Hill, Elliot or McCreery? he simply does not have the pace to be part of the pressure equation in the forward 50.
