Even Scotty Burns wasn't enough to have us reliably winning the centre contest and after he left and we were relying on the likes of Cheesy O'Bree to get it done at the coal face. It looked like prelim finalist would be about as good as it got

Luke Ball comes in - a guy with all those traits I listed - and we became a legitimate contender.

Helped that we also got a competitive ruckman at the same time.

By all means, get Beau up around the contest. Maybe it sounds like I'm splitting hairs but with a decent tank, he could be a fine defensive mid. The guy that stops them walking out front with it. (Even that role takes some learning though) But inside mid? The guy who goes in kamikaze style and get's the ball out to the fancy pants on the outside? I can't see it working against the teams we'd have to beat in September.
