As you say, Moore, DeGoey, Quaynor and Nick form a decent core of A graders. The thing that we need to get busy on is the depth of our younger talent. Some or all of Begg, Carmichael, Ryan, Dean, Harrison and Richards are not quite long term AFL players in my view. Then there's players like Kreuger and Johnson who could be but probably won't. And then there's players such as McInnes, McCrae and Allan who MIGHT take the next step.
The list isn't in as bad a shape as some media pundits have suggested but there is definitely a bit of work to do.
