The club was a mess off field and the head coach left at half year. The president had left in disgrace and the playing list was getting savaged due to payment screw ups. We were playing a brand of footy that had failed the previous 2 years and that the coaches appeared too inflexible to change.

We are nowhere near that state of affairs at the moment. Unless the club is about to implode again like it looked like it was trying to do in '21, my point stands
