Subject: Nick Daicos unequivocally the most complete player in the game right now.

It's not just that he wins contested footy, it's that he wins contested footy and he hurts you with it, and when he doesn't win it he applies elite pressure. The stats are simply mind blowing, not so much by themselves, but when you look at who else is on each list. hint. they are not the same players on each list, except for one. (the score launch and centre clearance are the best example, but it's over the whole lot.)

In the last 5 week (according to wheeloratings.com) Nick Daicos is, on average;

The number 1 player in the game by coaches votes. (ahead of Serong)

The number 1 player in the game according to supercoach. (ahead of Serong)

The number 2 player for disposals. (behind Treloar and ahead of Serong, Butters, Walsh, Flanders)

Number 2 for score involvments. (behind Young, ahead of Bont, Moyle, Murphy, Petracca, Serong)

Number 2 for ground ball gets. (behind Treloar)

Number 3 for contested posessions. (behind Moyle and Cripps)

The number 3 player in the game by player rating points. (behind Rankine and Bont)

Number 4 for centre clearances. (behind Moyle, Conway, Pittonet)

Number 4 for total clearances. (behind Liberatore, Serong, Cripps)

Number 4 for inside 50's. (behind Dawson, Greene, Anderson)

Number 6 for meters gained. (behind Sexton, Dale, Dawson, Holmes, Gulden)

Number 8 for score launches. (behind Moyle, Witts, Pittonet, Grundy, Sicily, Gawn, McInereney)

Number 9 for uncontested posessions. (behind Martin, Sexton, Butters, Gulden, Serong, Dale, Flanders, Zorko)

Number 11 for pressure acts. (Rowell, Viney, Rowbottom, Sheezel, Libertore, Steele, Miller, Crisp, Brayshaw, Kelly)

Absolutley no one in the game is better at wining a contested or ground ball in dispute and using it in a way that results in a score whilst still being in the top dozen players in the comp for pressuring the opposition.

Even in the areas he has yet to become one of the best in the comp at he is still pretty much elite, for example, he is currently 35th in the comp for tackles.

About the only thing at this point he is not really doing is taking speccy's.

The fact that we have this player to build a team around for the next decade is such a huge piece of the puzzle. Good Times.

GO PIES!!!!!
