Behind , smaller, slimmer, SANFL winger Nobes …why ? Because Nobes genuinely backs himself to take on the next line and generally his use of the Ball is productive
Whatever IQ seemed to have at Ground level has considerably diminished …ie he fumbles, he instinctively handlalls( often to team mates who are obviously and I mean obviously “ covered” , rather than back himself to run and deliver positively and his kicking ….rain making bullshite . His real strength is marking but that has dwindled too compared to last yr .
I’m thinking that it is he or Oleg …who is “ different” to the point of being excellent
My anticipation is that he must be given the multiple of messaging
- less attention on peripherals bull ( braided hair , eye catching shoes etc) and more on get it and deliver it our way
- tackling is part of your duties Mon Ami
- marking was a strength …reinvent the wheel …and rediscover it
- run and run and run ( bulging muscles aside) ,
- obliterate all memories of school yard end to end lunch time kick to kick …this is big time mate …spear it long , direct and flat …that trajectory minimises spoils

In his favour is the fact that “ contenders “ for his spot are few …ATM !!!!
